How Do You Winterize Your Golf Cart for Off-Season Storage?
One of the most common questions we get once the weather starts turning cold in Kansas City is if you need to winterize your golf carts. The answer is always YES!
Properly winterizing your golf cart ensures it’s ready to go when warm weather returns in the spring.
If you decide to do this yourself, you can start by cleaning the cart thoroughly to remove dirt and debris. Disconnect and fully charge the batteries, then store them in a cool, dry place. Check the tires and inflate them to the recommended pressure. Cover the cart with a breathable, weather-resistant cover to protect it from dust and moisture. If you’re storing it outdoors, consider additional protections like placing it on blocks to prevent tire damage.
If doing this isn't your idea of fun, we are happy to help. You can have RMI Golf Carts winterize your golf cart for you.
